One of the first questions we get from a prospective new dental patient is simply, “What should I bring to my dental appointment and what are you going to do?” This small article is to help you understand what you will expect when walking into our dental office for the first time.

The first thing that every new patient at Angstadt Family Dental will see is a warm, smiling, and welcoming staff. Upon entering one of our offices, you’ll be welcomed into our spacious waiting area and see our complimentary snack and drink bar. Patients should check in and fill out any new patient or updated paper work when arriving (if you’d like to fill out the paperwork before your appointment, download the forms below). At Angstadt Family Dental, we realize that going to the dentist is not always everyone’s favorite thing to do. In this, we work hard to provide a relaxing, welcoming, and high technology dental office that allays your dental fears and anxieties.

As a new patient or emergency patient, please see the forms below and print and fill them out to speed up the process at your first appointment. The only thing you really need to bring is yourself and if you’d prefer, a family member or friend to help discuss treatment options. Also, bring a form of payment, ID, and any dental insurance information. When you arrive, we will seat you as soon as possible and work to get to know you. Our doctors will introduce themselves and explain what we will try to accomplish at the first appointment. This includes developing a relationship with each patient, collecting information such as exams and dental radiographs, and forming an individualized treatment and care plan that accomplishes their unique dental goals!

At this appointment, our treatment coordinator, Pam, and one of our doctors will sit down with the patient and discuss what they need for improved dental health. At this point, all of their fears or concerns will be allayed as we review their options to get them back on track to dental health! Our doctors strive to use their experience and expertise to answer patient questions the best we can so that our patients can make their own informed and educated decisions on treatment. Please see the forms below to get to know them and print and fill them out at your own discretion.
