Dr. Angstadt, or Dr. Eric to many of his patients, understands that each patient is unique. At your first appointment, he will meet with you, one-on-one, to review your complete medical and dental history and help determine your dental needs. He is a great listener and will answer your questions and take the necessary time to explain your dental treatment options.
Dr. Eric believes that, “A well-informed patient has the ability to make good treatment decisions for themselves.”
He continually investigates and invests in the latest dental technologies and training in order to provide the best possible comprehensive dental services for his patients.
Dr. Eric says, “It’s simple. We are not your regular old traditional dental office. We use the latest dental technologies to provide our patients with a far superior dental experience. Period.”
And because a healthy smile begins with regular routine dental care, he is committed to building long-lasting, trusting relationships with each of his patients. At Angstadt Family Dental, you can have your best smile without the pain and discomfort normally associated with a dental visit. Our highly personalized “Smile Makeover” dental treatment planning can help change the way you feel about yourself and how others see you too. Dr. Eric has helped thousands of patients recapture a more youthful smile and helped them improve the quality of their lives.
“It’s always great to help get an emergency patient out of pain, but it’s also rewarding to help them get a new youthful, confidence inspiring smile.”
“Dr. Eric (son) is a graduate of Alvernia University where he received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology and, Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry where he completed his Doctorate Degree in Dentistry and graduated with Honors.”
Eric’s passion for dentistry started at an early age as he watched his father work as a dentist and assisted him over the years from the time he was a teenager and, throughout his college years. It was during this time that he learned about dentistry hands-on. He watched his father help patients get out of pain, improve their quality of life and helped them pursue their dental dreams of having great teeth and a confident new smile.
He strives to provide a comfortable atmosphere for his patients while minimizing their pain and allaying their dental fears. Dr. Eric uses the latest in dental technologies and supporting techniques, such as various dental lasers versus the standard dental drill and, the use of dental scanning versus traditional dental impressions. He offers preventive and cosmetic dentistry, dentures, crown and bridgework, root canal therapies, extractions, non-surgical periodontal treatments and dental implant placement and restoration.
He prides himself in being able to educate his patients to possible treatment options first and then, allowing them to make the best possible treatment decisions for themselves. He recognizes that each patient is an individual and requires an individual experience that allows them to become interactive in the decision making process.
He believes that establishing strong relationships and accompanying great mutual trust is of the utmost importance to provide quality dental care for his patients. He works hard to make sure that each patient is treated with compassion and has a unique and fulfilling dental experience.
Dr. Eric says, “The cornerstones of providing quality dental care resides in the continual pursuit of advanced education and, constantly seeking to ultimately implement new technologies into my dental skill set.”
He is married and resides in Downingtown, PA with his wife, Lindsay, who also works alongside him as a Registered Dental Hygienist. In his spare time, he enjoys working out at the gym, taking seasonal ski trips, biking, and walking his dog, Rocky and spending time with his cat, Bradley.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association and the Berks County Dental Society.
“Dr. Jon attended St. Joseph’s University and the Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University.”
From a young age, Dr. Jon always knew he wanted to do something that allowed him to positively impact people’s lives. “Watching both my father, Dr. Eric R. Angstadt, and my mother, Bianca Angstadt, RDH provide exceptional dental care up close while working in the office in high school and college, I knew that dentistry was my calling,” relayed Dr. Jon.
As your dentist, he takes pride in his job and knows that it’s his responsibility to treat patients with a holistic approach that takes into account their overall health. Dr. Jon strives to create a comfortable, patient-centered environment. He provides preventative and esthetic dentistry, dentures, crown and bridge, root canals, extraction, and non-surgical periodontal therapy.
When not in the office serving his patients as Dr. Jon, he is fortunate to go home as husband to his wife, Jamie; dad to his sons, Carter and Nolan; and dog Bailey.
Bianca worked with her husband, Eric, for the last 30 years as the office hygienist and office manager. Bianca loves getting to know her patients and their families. Angstadt, chose to go back to school for Dental Hygiene. Lindsay has a bachelors in Hospitality Management from Widener University to go along with her associates degree in Dental Hygiene.
